More Amazing Infrared Photography

The Imgur user, Trophygeek, is quite a talented photographer. These photographs were taken with a NEX5 digital camera that has been modified to be “full spectrum”. Many of these shots are of Peru, but there are many of spots in the USA.

Infrared photography uses film with an emulsion that is sensitive to infrared light, enabling it to be used in misty weather, darkened interiors, or at night. It has applications in aerial surveys, the detection of forgeries, etc.
